Success at the ILDEX Indonesia 2022 trade exhibition

From November 9th to 11th, the SASSO was at the ILDEX 2022 trade exhibition held in Jakarta, Indonesia. Our presence at this trade exhibition was crucial as it is the fifth largest international breeding, dairy, meat processing and aquaculture exhibition in the world, as well as the largest poultry fair in Indonesia. It also was the exhibition’s great comeback after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ILDEX 2022 was therefore an opportunity not to be missed.

The Indonesian market represents a huge potential for the Traditional Poultry BU as the Indonesians eat around 300 million colored chickens per year. This constitutes one more reason for the intense collaboration between the Layers and the Traditional Poultry BUs during the trade exhibition. SASSO’s first mission at ILDEX was to make the prospects know the SASSO offers both in terms of its products and its “Genetic Service Agreement” breeding offers. The three days of the exhibition were therefore filled with client appointments, network creation and, of course, numerous encounters. The booth had a constant flow of visitors all along the exhibition, securing and confirming SASSO’s success in the Asian market.

The whole Indonesian poultry industry was delighted to be able to talk face-to-face again, allowing us to discuss our new business goals, to present the added value of our different brands and to make important deals with our clients. The trade exhibition was also the occasion to discuss with the Indonesian health authorities in order to work on the registration of our strains in Indonesia.

To conclude, the ILDEX 2022 trade exhibition has overall been a great success with nice perspectives for the future of SASSO and we would like to thank everyone who has made it an achievement for all !
