Get to know him in this interview!
Can you tell us more about you?
I have an international business-oriented profile and have consistently focused my educational and professional experiences on this path. During my studies, I completed internships in India, Canada, and Peru, and spent an exchange semester in Taiwan.
I then began my career in sales in Canada and later worked in Ivory Coast and Spain before joining SASSO.
Building connections with people around the world and exploring how we can grow together truly inspires me.
Why did you specifically choose animal production?
People will always need to eat; it is it since the beginning of humanity.
Chicken is one of the only animals which is universally eaten. In all cultures around the globes.
I want to contribute at my little scale to help feed the population and therefore to contribute to humanity’s growth.
What is your role at SASSO?
As Sales Manager Africa, I am responsible for supporting African customers in their adoption and loyalty to Sasso chicken.
Furthermore, my role involves identifying new markets, prospecting, and creating new partnerships. We are experiencing growth, and it is essential to strengthen the visibility and impact of our solutions across this amazing continent.
Why SASSO?
SASSO is a French company renowned for its longstanding expertise in genetic selection and the quality of its chickens.
The traditional poultry market is booming, particularly internationally, where demand is high.
With my Africa-and international-focused profile, joining SASSO represents an exciting challenge: contributing to the development of a promising, innovative segment that is essential for food security.
It is a unique opportunity to bring my skills to a company that has already proven itself and continues to grow rapidly. Let’s see what’s next!
What knowledge and skills do you bring that will allow you to support SASSO’s customers and ensure their success?
First, I want to work as a win-win approach. I always seek solutions that benefit both our customers and SASSO, with a clear common goal: to develop local poultry production, feed the population, and generate sustainable value for all stakeholders.
I also benefit from a strong knowledge of the african continent and cultures thanks to several years of work in Côte d'Ivoire and some trips in countries around (Niger, Gabon, Senegal..). I understand local realities, ways of working, intercultural issues, and the daily challenges faced by stakeholders.
What do you like to do during your free time?
I love watching sport (especially Rugby as I am from Toulouse, obviously “allez le stade”). I also like hiking and walking.
Culture is my real passion, especially History in general, I read a lot and love to go to museums.
What is your motto in life?
“You should always aim for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”
Oscar Wilde
A few words about the handover with Louis:
Louis brings me so much, both personally and professionally. He gives excellent advice and, above all, he is someone who is committed to training the next generation (of which I am a part) and passing on his knowledge.
I am extremely fortunate to be able to count on him in my training and I know that he will always be there for me. It would be impossible to imagine Louis without his chickens, without SASSO, to which he has given so much and continues to give his all.
